Bajaj Indonesia take the KTM Duke 150 and 250?

There is exciting news site written by local Indian, bikeadvice that PT Bajaj Auto Indonesia (BAI) is ready to market their motorcycle, the end of December 2011. But the latest information from KTM themselves, they are not bringing the 125 and 200cc Duke that has been launched in Malaysia and Singapore, Indonesia to market selected 150 and 250cc engines.

Budi Dirgantoro, Sales Head BAI cited bikeadvice Function (09/18/2011) says, usually a lag time of new product launches in India with Indonesia to 6 months. He said, there are two new machines specifically for Indonesia. Interestingly, at the bottom of the article was written sources from the official release of BAI.

Kompas.com try to confirm the direct and Budi confirmed that he had never interviewed the Indian media directly. He also denied having said the timing and type of Duke that will be marketed to Indonesia.

"Until now the KTM is still in the process of studying in Indonesia. No decision of either the type or manner of marketing, whether through the BAI or the move itself. The news from India that is not true," said Budi to Kompas.com on Monday (9/19/2011) .

Although still maze, the possibility of setting up the KTM Duke with a different engine in Indonesia is open wide. Because the Indonesian consumers still need a big power and many rivals to fill sports segment 125 rather than 150 and 250cc and 200cc. Let us together look forward to, what the next step in Indonesia KTM?!
