Yamaha India finally officially launched its newest product
R15 Version 2.0 New in New Delhi, today (6 / 9). With a completely new design and engine development experience, this sport bikes priced rupees 97,425 or Rp18, 1 million per unit.
Yamaha YZF R15 150cc engine equipped with a cylinder of aluminum materials and technology were DiASil (Die-casting Aluminum Silicon) so as to make the temperature more stable. This machine is equipped with injection system, radiator-shaped and compact 6-speed transmission. With a maximum power 17PS at 8500 rpm and torque of 15nm at 7500 rpm, Yamaha claimed acceleration at low speeds is very responsive.
At the heart of this runway, with four-valve combustion chamber to improve performance.
This engine options as well as eliminate a variety of speculations which had appeared in cyberspace (the Internet), one of which mentions YZF 250cc equipped machine to rival the Honda CBR 250R.
In terms of design, the figure of R15 Version 2.0 looks much sharper than the previous model, similar YZF R1 super bike. Two headlights, rearview mirrors, the shape of the tank, dual seat reinforces the impression of a separate sport.
Though categorized as a sports bike, the YZF R 15 is quite fuel efficient with the factory's claim of 40 km per liter in the city and 50 km per liter for long distances. Yamaha offers this product in three colors, namely the Yamaha Racing Blue, Sunset Red, and Midnight Black.
Now the big question, what Indonesia would bring New Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 to compete with the CBR 150R? Answer from the PT Yamaha Motor Kencana Indonesia (YMKI) still impressed hanging, "in consideration"!
